This is the store front for the work of artists Carl Johnson and Cheryl Beatty. Since 2012, they have worked in Stained Glass. All the pieces on this site are original designs and created by the artists. While many are produced as families, each piece is unique and 'one-of-a-kind', carefully and lovingly created individually by the artists, by hand, with no short cuts.

Photography
The sizes of the Adult Fish and Baby fish are shown in relation to each other. The colors and variations in Stained Glass can only be seen by the human eye. We searched many photographic variations to ultimately show the detail and brilliance of the Glass. However, there really is no way to show this work without 'seeing' it. The photography shows the pieces photographed against white paper and also hanging from a window with the natural light showing through. Some glass has a definite difference between sides, so each piece is photographed from both sides. The glass is chosen to complement all of the glass in each particular piece.

Lead-based Solder vs. Lead-free Solder
Most pieces on this website are created with lead-based solder using the Copper Foil method. Lead-based products can safely be handled, but are intended to be hung and out of reach of children.

Marisa's Hearts are created using jewelry quality LEAD-FREE solder and are completely safe to handle and wear.

Cost
Our Stained Glass artwork is of the highest quality and greatest value for the price. Hand made Stained Glass is not a lucrative business. It's been said that, "nobody ever made a lot of money making Stained Glass." That is true, however, our love of creating Stained Glass produces much more than we can display personally. As professional artists, we create for the love of art and sell our artwork to allow us to continually create more.

Free Shipping
There is no charge for shipping. Product will ship via US Mail - mostly by Priority Mail. However, smaller pieces may be simply shipped 1st Class. Please expect your purchase within 7 business days.

Carl is a Freelance Graphic Artist and owns Deadline Design. Since 1983, he has Art Directed a design firm, designed and laid out advertising for a large retail store and Art Directed an advertising agency. In 1989, started Deadline Design and works for a large variety of clients across the United States.
